I came across the band Seventh Day Slumber about 10 years ago when listening one of their earlier albums – a very impressive bunch of musicians especially if you, like me, enjoy a good rock tune. However, I rediscovered them again recently when listening to the testimony of their lead singer and founder Joseph Rojas. I strongly recommend the reader to check out his story. Truly inspiring story of redemption from the brink.
So “Found” is a song about his life and a reminder to us all of the beauty of redemption, which we all need through Jesus. As for the song, it’s a perfect blend of the contemporary and the traditional. Beautiful melody, really moving words.
